This e-learning module teaches how to safely operate a stacker or pallet truck at Umicore. It covers the principal safety rules, operator responsibilities and handling procedures of the different vehicle types. Videos demonstrate all the steps of vehicle inspection, battery charging and correct driving, while interactive exercises challenge the viewer to correctly assess how to handle a load.
The e-learning ends with a quiz to test the trainee’s theoretical knowledge. After successful completion, trainees are referred to a practical training by the Umicore instructors.
